Burdette grew up in St. Albans, WV and learned to play guitar at age 15. She attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2002. She now resides in Wilmington, NC performing regularly around town and traveling. Her music is of the folk genre with a pop twist. Her voice is similar to those who inspired her, including Jewel, Brandi Carlile, and Sheryl Crow."
